phpjKufrhPM1.jpgIn case you've forgotten, Gallery Hanahou in NYC (611 Broadway Suite 730) is showcasing Before and After, an exhibit for Ossu! Shugeibu. And hey, it's a BUST sponsored event so that's extra cool.

The name Ossu! Shugeibu translates to Yo! Crafting Club and founder Shichi Ishizawa will be around tonight from 7-9 pm for a little surprise participatory event action. If you can't swing it tonight, on the 17th from 1-4 pm there will be a make-your-own-robot-pet workshop (which costs $29.99 for supplies and such). Be sure to email info@galleryhanahou.com to reserve a seat for this crafty-goodness.

If this is your first time hearing about the likes of Ossu! Shugeibu, let me tell you, they're pretty nifty. The group uses repurposed materials and freestyle techniques free of rules and conventions to create oddball crafts that make me smile. In my opinion, this is an exhibit not to miss!
