Lena Dunham and David Sedaris to (Finally!!) Join Forces at Carnegie Hall

What happens when two of the world's smartest and sassiest funnypeople come together for a meeting of the minds? It would appear we are about to find out. Lena Dunham and David Sedaris have just announced a joint show--"Alone Together at Last"--to take place at Carnegie Hall on November 19th. Go ahead, I'll wait right here while you do a little dance.

According to the press release, the performance will consist of readings from Dunham's upcoming memoir of sorts (Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She's Learned, 2014) and Sedaris's latest bestseller, Let's Explore Diabetes With Owls. But that seems a little too obvious...my guess is that they will collectively talk about their neurotic parents and weird sexual encounters for two hours until some sort of comedy vortex will open and the universe will be torn in two. But it really is anyone's guess!

Tickets go on sale to the public this Friday...but we've got you covered. Head over to Brooklyn Vegan for deets on an exclusive pre-sale that goes live TOMORROW!
