Someone in Dublin is boycotting Rihanna’s boobs.

Recent posters for the singer’s “Diamonds” tour feature the her topless, with her breasts obscured by a logo, but apparently that isn’t modest enough. Twitter has been exploding with pictures of censored versions of the poster. It would seem that anonymous perpetrator  is covering up Rihanna with different shirts and dresses. The Independent called the perpetrator a "mystery prude," which just might be the most enticing bandit name in all the land.

Seriously analyzing it, the perpetrator could be partaking in some pretty unique slut-shaming, denying Riri the right to own her sexuality.  However, if anything, this is still far less offensive and degrading than what I see on ads in the subway every week. But the ad-busting of New York’s seedy underbelly is a dark, misogynistic world.

There’s also the remote possibility that it’s not a commentary on Rihanna’s sexuality. Perhaps the vandal (or vandals, this could be a whole cover-up campaign) just thought she looked cold in that poster.

I sincerely doubt it, though. Mostly because it’s June.
