19-year-old Tunisian feminist Amina, who posted the following photos of herself on the internet, has recently been delivered by her family to psychiatric care.

The photos were first posted to the Femen-Tunisia webpage. The first photo displays the words "Fuck your morals" written in ink across her torso. The second one shows her smoking a cigarette, adorned with the Arabic words, "My body is my own and not the source of anyone's honor," in an effort to combat sexism in her Islamic community.

Upon making the posts, she was slammed by the Commission of the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice in Tunisia, who has called for her to be "stoned to death". The head of the department stated, "Her act could bring about an epidemic. It could be contagious and give ideas to other women. It is therefore necessary to isolate [the incident]. I wish her to be healed." Her actions, under Tunisian secular law, is punishable with up to two years in prison.

According to a member of Femen in Paris, Amina has been committed to a psychiatric hospital in Tunis, after being criticized and even disowned by some of her family members.
