If you haven’t wanted to hear anything more about Chris Brown since he was convicted of felony assault back in 2009 for brutally beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna, you no longer have to! At least, not via the internet. No more headlines about Chris Brown inexplicably performing multiple times at awards shows, throwing a chair through a window, or getting a disgusting tattoo that looks a little too familiar.
AUX has come out with the aptly (or should we say app-ly) titled app, “Brownout,” which blocks out Chris Brown’s face and name from the internet if you’re using Google Chrome.
AUX online producer Sam Sutherland explained, "If he wants to get a tattoo on his neck that kind of looks like Rihanna we are going to write about it. But at some point, it reaches Chris Brown idiocy saturation. All we had to do is build a frame where it recognises the word and ignores it and literally erases it. You can see everything except his name and his face."
You can download it here.
