I am loving this new Niggy Tardust release, it's hip hop poet Saul Williams new project that is produced by his pal Trent Reznor, imagine some NIN beats but sung by a genius black man-  much better I tell you! And, similar to the Radiohead release, you can either download it for free, or support a great artist and pay only 5 bucks! Even my cheap ass can afford that :)  Download is available today here: www.saulwilliams.com...

I know I've geeked out about these boys in the past, but for serious, I can't imagine a better time to monster mash with Bryan Scary and the Shredding Tears than at the Scaryville Circus Halloween party in Brooklyn!  Acts will also include a burlesque show, sword juggling, graffiti writers, fire twirling, and much more! Admission is only 10 bones, which also comes with an open bar sponsored by Bluepoint Brewery and Sweet Leaf Tea. ...

We loved the M.I.A. show in NYC this weekend, she was in full force, with awesome video backdrops, and she slayed the audience! If she is coming to your town, you owe to yourself to see her show-I promise you will not be disappointed!  here is her new video for Jimmy....

This Sat I got to go to see Keisha Cole and Eve at the Rock Corps concert. I felt kind of dirty being there since everyone else had to volunteer 4 hours of community service to get a ticket. But whatever I needed to see Keisha Cole! No tickets were sold, the only way to get in was to work it out (unless you got the press hook up!). I am sure it was worth all the hours of fence painting and weed pulling because...

After 3 long years of hoping and waiting, one of my all-time fave bands evs, Rilo Kiley, answered my prayers and started a North American tour on Sept. 6th. Under the Blacklight, the twangy, alt-rock quartet's 4th release, dropped on August 21st after a long 18 month hiatus during which my girl Jenny toured with the Watson twins (spell it, l-o-v-e!) and cutie male sidekick Blake worked on his side project, The Elected. I was able to catch them live the other night, when they...

Pardon the red face, I was rapping like craz. In the pic above we were tearing up some "Ignition". Calvin also did Snoop which pretty much secured my crush on him. Oh, perhaps you don't know about Calvin yet (that's right first name basis). We reviewed him in the new issue of BUST, which just dropped on BUST today and should be arriving in mailboxes around the world shortly. His debut album is so freakin infectious it hurts. It is no news flash that...
