It’s not truly the holiday season until I’ve downed enough truffles to feed a family of five, and I’m super excited to get that ball rolling with Chickpea and Olive’s delightful vegan treats. In flavors like almond, coconut, and saffron, they make a great gift for the veggie or vegan chocoholic in your life.

Proprietors Daniel Strong and Danielle Ricciardi are best known for serving up delicious vegan cuisine made from seasonal, locally-produced vegetables. Next weekend, they’ll deliver with homemade Mexican hot chocolate, apple cider, and other wintery noshes.

Just look at that beet slider. NOM.

Bring your growling tummy to Chickpea and Olive’s booth at the BUST Magazine Holiday Craftacular on Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2 at 82 Mercer St. in SoHo. The Craftacular will be open from 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. both days.
