If you're a twitter junky, like myself, you may have noticed #dearjohn trending all over your newsfeed-  if you follow any feminist or pro-choice activists. I'm not going to lie, at first I thought it may have been about the Channing Tatum/Amanda Seyfried movie, but it's definitely not. #dearjohn (AKA House Speaker John Boehner) was started by Sady Doyle as a response to H.R.3: No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act. The act, which Boehner says is a legislative priority, redefines rape, puts an age restriction on cases of incest, and the list goes on... Anyway, GRIT did a segment with Sady Doyle and Eesha Pandit all about H.R.3 and it may answer any of your questions about what the bill entails.
