Presenting an official event of Carnegie Hall’s Japan/NYC Festival,

these three performances focuses on the decades of long creative partnership

between sculptor Isamu Noguchi and Martha Graham. The program includes

Embattled Garden (1958), Cave of the Heart (1947), and Appalachian Spring

(1944), all of which were choreographed by Martha Graham with sets by Isamu

Noguchi.
