According to Princeton University alumna Susan Patton, I’ve sacrificed eternal marital bliss by not locking down a husband while in the oh-so-casual days of college. “Here’s what nobody is telling you: Find a husband on campus before you graduate.” Mrs. Patton said in a letter to the Daily Princetonian. “For most of you, the cornerstone of your future and happiness will be inextricably linked to the man you marry, and you will never again have this concentration of men who are worthy of you.” Well, shit....

A picture is worth a thousand words, but an infographic speaks for itself.  A new series of graphs demonstrates a point we already knew, but hadn't thought to illustrate: In Hollywood, it's fine and dandy for leading men to grow older, but not leading ladies. There is a huge bias towards older men/younger women in casting. Although there are a few exceptions to the rule, (like Geena Davis and Brad Pitt in Thelma and Louise or Katherine Keener and Steve Carell in The 40 Year Old...

Elimination communication. I had to look it up. Looks like the next big trend in alternative parenting is going diaperless. You heard me right... Diaper. Free. Babies. Let me just quote a sentence from the first paragraph of Baby’s Latest: Going Diaperless: “Ms. Shapiro scattered little bowls around the house to catch her daughter’s offerings, and her sister insisted that she use a big, dark marker to mark the bowls so that they could never find their way back to the kitchen.” Ms. Shapiro is a child-rearing...

On Thursday morning, about 74 girls attending Bibi Hawa Girls High School became ill after ingesting a poisonous gas. Police and school representatives transported the girls to the hospital after they fell unconscious and other classmates looked on and cried. The 8th, 10th, and 11th grade students were treated by Dr. Jamil Frotan, who stated, "We have already sent samples of their blood to the Ministry of Public Health and it will soon become clear what the reason for their illness was." Located in Taluquan, the...
