I don't need to tell you that Mean Girls is the most hysterical, quotable movie of all time. You know it, I know it, it is fact. And the best part is, there's never a bad time to use a Mean Girls line. You are always regarded as witty and charming for pulling "she doesn't even go here" out of your ass at a party. It's a universal truth. But Christopher Rosa, an intern for NextMovie, just put us all to shame. This majestic creature takes Mean...
If you’re in the midst of doing any resume-building, here’s a tip: don’t look up Raven-Symoné. Her career is, simply put, mind-boggling. It’s just not fair. First of all, she got her headstart as an infant, picking up some modeling between napping, pooping her diaper, and eating mush. By the wee age of four, she was on The Cosby Show. At age eight? She’d already dropped an album.  When, at 16, she auditioned for a recurring character role – Chelsea Daniels on a Disney Channel original...

Trans-vaginal ultrasounds, mandatory waiting periods, access to a surgical center for what is little more than an outpatient procedure; these measures pretend like they aim to protect the mother, but only protect the conservative values of the loudmouthed congressmen who champion them. Bans of abortions of pregnancies past 20 weeks of gestation are the impediments du jour to...
Some people really have a problem with referring to him- or herself as a feminist. Generally, even if someone still believes in gender equality, they still tend to get defensive when someone calls them a feminist. This is clear in first segment of an article published in the Guardian written by a man who, when asked by a fellow journalist to answer some questions about male feminism, agreed to speak, but was adamant about not being labeled a “feminist." He asserted that being called a...
