Yesterday Kotex launched a new ad campaign lampooning, well, itself. The first ad for U by Kotex parodies the super slo-mo, twirling in circles, running on the beach, practicing ballet in white spandex, pristinely clean genre of femcare ads that have been advertising staples for decades. We've known for some time that Betty White would be on SNL, we just didn't know when. Or if she would actually be hosting. Now it's confirmed, the 88-year-old actor will have her day on May 8, 2010.
SNL Executive Producer Lorne Michaels told USA Today he was moved by the Facebook group, "Betty White to Host SNL (please?)!" group. We're thrilled Lorne noticed its nearly half a million fans.
