Book Love: A Homemade Life

Posted by: Lisa in Eat Me |

I think I've mentioned my epic love of food before. I love eating, but I also love cooking. In fact I love just looking at food, or talking about it, and especially reading about it. One of my favorite food bloggers, Molly Wizenberg of Orangette, has a new book out called A Homemade Life: Stories and Recipes From My Kitchen Table. Read on for details... I'm only halfway through it but I can tell you it is awesome. It has the feeling of a ... Read More

Away We Go trailer

I caught their show at the Williamsburg Music Hall awhile back when they opened for Yeasayer (LOVE!) and it says a lot when the first band draws as big a crowd as the headliner. Go catch them on their new tour that kicks off this week (click ... Read More

Confession:

Posted by: Lisa in Boob Tube |

I watch The Bachelor. And not just off-handedly while flipping channels, or once in awhile if I happen to be home. On Mondays I make a point to have dinner made by 8 so I can give each episode (and the adult beverages my friend Amber always brings over) my full attention. This garners me endless teasing from my boyfriend and I've only recently come to terms with admitting my slight obsession to friends. But I can't help ... Read More
