If you haven’t already heard, Bic now has a line of pens “For Her,” and the only thing that sets them apart from all their other pens is that they are pink and purple.  Yet, they are twice the price of normal pens.   I know.   Even better though, Bic actually had the gall to ask awesome feminist Ellen DeGeneres to be their spokesperson for these lady pens, and asked her to be in a commercial, which Ellen said on her show “outraged” her, then went on to satirized the product and the company’s decision to make them.

I'm broke. You're broke. But luckily, a low-balance bank account is no obstacle to ogling some badass shoes. And you can feel good about putting these puppies on your wish list, because all of these crazy-cool shoes are more than just mere footwear. Why have shoes when you can have SUPER SHOES?   Jeffrey Campbell Heelies, $199.95   Dropping $200 on MOTHEREFFING HEELIE SLINGBACKS is a responsible investment. Hear me out! One: Jeffy Campbs are built to last. Two: Seventies flatforms are on-trend and totes wearable in fall with opaque tights. Three: WHEELZ.

I was first introduced to funny lady (and generally awesome human being) Tina Fey during the 2008 election season. Her hilariously dead-on impressions of Sarah Palin never failed to put my racing 19-year-old mind at ease. Little did I know that in 2012, our rights to safe and legal abortions, affordable birth control, and equal pay would be at stake. Clearly, we still need our Tina. Enraged by the vomit-inducing rape comments made by Republican politicians, Fey struck back…hard.

What with the street style bloggers crawling over every corner of the Internet, it seems as though the next-level creeping was bound to happen eventually. This latest incarnation of style stalking is through a camera linked to the Internet, uploading shots of passerby in real time from, naturally, Brooklyn, New York. The camera snapping shots of passers-by is located along Williamsburg’s Bedford Avenue, and is motion activated, so anyone and everyone walking by is showcased on the blog, called Styleblaster, to be judged by all.

This might be the creepiest documentary ever.  An Australian documentary team has auctioned off the virginities of a man and a woman known as Alexander and Catarina. The bidding, which took place on a website called Virgins Wanted, began on September 17 and closed on October 24. Catarina had 15 bids ranging from $1 to the winning $780,000, from a Japanese man called “Natsu.” Alexander had 8 bids ranging from $1,000 to the winning $3,000, from a Brazilian woman called “Nene B.

In 1980s Romania, Carmen Bugan’s father wrote anti-Communist propaganda, an illegal act that led to the family having to flee the country in 1989. But of course, as a kid, Bugan had no idea what was going on. It wasn’t until she started searching for answers as an adult that she learned of her father’s secret. This is the retelling of her discovery. Bugan uses short, concise sentences that pack in all the emotional details of her unusual childhood as if she’s still experiencing them today.

Wanda Jackson may be approaching her 75th birthday, but the Queen of Rockabilly shows no signs of slowing down. On her 31st album, Jackson goes back to her roots with the signature mix of rockabilly and country that made her famous in the late 1950s. Unfinished Business features five new tracks and five covers of tracks by artists from Etta James to Woody Guthrie to the Rolling Stones. Produced by established folk musician Justin Townes Earle (son of Steve Earle), this LP sticks to classic country ballads and upbeat R&B tunes.

Fall is in full swing! People are decked out in their knit scarves and sweaters, sipping on seasonal flavored coffees and preparing costumes for Halloween festivities, so what better way to celebrate than with Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, who have created a line combining the best things of Halloween into some devilishly alluring scents. The creators behind these haunting scents are releasing their Halloween fragrances, titled  “Halloweenies,” as well as their “Haunted House” collection.

WTF. Yesterday, CNN published an article examining how women vote with their hormones, not with, you know, their brains. Titled “Study looks at voting and hormones: Hormones may influence female voting choices,” the article has since been taken down from CNN, but this is the Internet, and it still exists in its full form here and here.

If you like mysteriously dark yet candy-sweet indie pop, Chaos Chaos’s S is the EP for you. Chaos Chaos is comprised of multitalented Brooklynite sisters Chloe and Asy Saavedra, formerly child stars of the indie pop band Smoosh. They play an array of instruments, including synthesizers, acoustic piano, many different types of drums, and saxophone, and they also use experimental vocals. Like BUST favorite Amanda Palmer, they funded their album through a successful Kickstarter campaign. Chaos Chaos recently released the official music video for their track “My Hands.
