PSYCHE! I loved it. Anyone else see it on Imax? During the opening shot, when they show that huge  drop view, I kind of almost threw up it was that realistic looking. Even the Imax popcorn was intense. When  you eat it, it feels like you're IN the kernal. Okay, slight exaggeration. But for anyone else (everyone) who also loved Dark Knight, you should watch this deleted scene that features one of my very favorite comedians, Aziz Ansari...

Tori Amos and comics came into my life at the same time, way back in the early 90s. I had a cool older friend that had all the best stuff, and one day she came into school with a copy of Death: The High Cost of Living, and I thought it was the prettiest thing I'd ever seen. Had to have it. My friend turned me on to Tori too, and I fell in love. And then someone told me that Tori was the basis for Delirium in the Sandman “Brief Lives” collection (a story since debunked), which I bought...and thus began the cycle of dependency that is my comics addiction.

Lots of clothing brands have taken to sponsoring athletes to get their brand name out there, but Quiksilver's got a different take on the same idea. SiteLA is a “communal work and exhibition space” in Silver Lake, California, where six women act as “visionaries in residence” and work on their varying projects during a year-long stay in the house.

Me and my boo Michael decided to take a trip down memory lane last night to check out the Butthole Surfers reunion show at Webster Hall. The audience was full of “mature” punk rockers, mostly over 40, former East Village degenerates, now sober.

Thanks to my friend MitziDodge for alerting me to this life-altering musical number, by one of Italy's most famous 60s girl singers. Just try and resist it's charms.

Finally, this site has undergone some changes and has moved to a new server. Hooray! Now I can get back to my knitting! knit from Ben Millett on Vimeo. p.s. If you find any problems or links that don't work, please lemme know: debbie@bust.

We are totally obsessed with Leanne from Project Runway and her line, Leanimal. She may be a big deal now, but Leanne started with an Etsy store just like a lot of BUSTy ladies, and now she's all over your TV and all over our minds here in the office. Wouldn't you love this purple frock coat? It's fabulous and yet practical--the first thing I think of when I see the front cut higher than the back is biking around the city. There's plenty more hot stuff over at her site, so check it out.

We came across this picture in the Yellow Paint "Stand Out" book the other day and totally loved it. It's creepy and knitty and strangely sexy, and needless to say, very BUST-y. Are there real people under there? Are they mannequins? How did they get into the knit suits? They look like men, but they're all wrapped in pink. And though you can't see their faces, their body language is so sad. The photo is by Joshua Dalsimer, who may be familiar to some of you as the original drummer for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

The Golden Girls has always been one of my favorite shows. Even as a pre-teen I could somehow relate to these older ladies. I was fascinated with Dorothy and Sophia’s relationship, so open and honest. The show has always made me look forward to getting old, to wearing sweaters all the time, living with my best friends and always having a pie on hand. And yes, still getting laid! Estelle Getty (Sophia) passed away this morning. Already youtube is being flooded with tribute videos.
