Now that LA and London are done, it's time for the big momma that is the NYC Holiday Craftacular. Please come over to the event happening this Sunday Dec. 14th (note the date printed in the current issue of BUST is wrong!!- sorry about that). We will be at the Metropolitan Pavilion, at 18th street between 6th and 7th ave. from 10 am till 7:30. You can take the F, V to 14th and 6th, or any train to Union Square. Aside from all the fantastic crafters to shop from, there will be Two Boots Pizza, Babycakes baked good (yeah) and beer served from 3-7.

I had an action packed whirlwind of a weekend in London, where I attended the first ever London based BUST Craftacular! I arrived Friday and went immediately to Top Shop to scope it out. It was sort of a much bigger and trendier H+M, and not as cheap, but they did have alot of cool stuff. I can't wait for it to come to NYC-hurry up, man! Then I met up with our old pal Sheila B and the two lovely girls who put on the Craftacular, Clarie and Vicky, for some drinks and meat pies at the pub.

One of my favorite jewelry companies, Digby and Iona will have a table this year at the NY BUST Holiday Craftacular this Sunday selling their salty and sweet jewelry, so come on down and scope em out at The Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 W. 18th street, Table #7.

If you have fond memories of a twinkle-eyed Santa Claus squeezing his jelly filled booty down your chimney, leave a few presents and maybe chow down on the milk and cookies mom was considerate enough to leave out, be prepared to have those sugar plum fairies knocked right outta your head.

By now you should have heard about the BUST Stylist Closet at the Craftacular on December 14th- just 10 dollars gets you instant VIP access to the closet, where you get to play and grab the item of your choice to take home with you! BUST HQ's is piling up with serious goodies for the closet. Shoes, bags, jewelry, dresses, jeans- everything is totally awesome and special, I want it all! I know, I know that wouldn't be fair, I have to buy my ticket like everyone else.

Stop me if this sounds familiar; It's early morning and you're wearing last night's slightly rumpled clothes and a bad case of bed head, hoping no one you know spots you during your Walk of Shame back home. At least you can commiserate with others at The Clothes That Got Me Laid, a blog that chronicles the oft-hilarious adventures of men and women and the sartorial choices they make in their quest to snag that sought after hookup.

You know, it's funny--despite my insane perfectionism when it comes to wrapping gifts, I've never gotten on board with gift tags. Six different kinds of ribbon and real pine branches, sure. But actual tags? Man, by the time I've wrestled with all the silly accoutrements, there's little room for anything but a taped-on wrapping paper scrap, the To and From hastily scribbled in ballpoint pen. It's a bit of a disconnect. So this year, in an effort to streamline my way-overboard packaging schemes, I've decided to let gift tags do the talking.

Busties! I've been neglecting you and I'm terribly, terribly sorry. I've been knee-deep in end-of-semester research papers, including on one everyone's favorite former VP candidate, and haven't had time to check in here much. But I wanted to share this comic strip with you. Monica Gallagher is one of my fave indie comics artists, and she does a regular strip on roller derby girl Bonnie N. Collide's nine to five normal life.

Ever since the invention of tampon cases, I have had to worry about one less embarrassment in life (still waiting for the day they invent a skirt that doesn't get caught in my tights.) Now, thanks to Eleven Eleven I will never have to worry when my bubby loots my purse for mints. Pick up one of these sly condom covers at the LA Craftacular.
