Betty White has been getting a lot of well-deserved attention these days. We recently blogged about how much we love the ex-Golden Girl, as she proves that age ain't nothing but a number when it comes to relevance as an actress and comedienne. According to Entertainment Weekly, Saturday Night Live is close to having the 88-year-old host the show. This would be Betty White's first time hosting, and according to columnist Michael Ausiello, she wouldn't be doing it solo. Ausiello says that Saturday Night Live is putting together a "Women of Comedy" episode which would team her up with SNL alums (and BUST favorite funny ladies) Tiny Fey, Amy Poehler, and Molly Shannon. Nothing has been confirmed yet according to a rep from SNL, but either way, as a self-proclaimed superfan of Betty, I'm sure I'm not alone in my excitement for her! Entertainment Weekly notes that the sudden push for Betty White to host the show came from a grass roots facebook campaign.
