Current internet fads can be lumped into a handful of categories: 1) awkward people with terrible taste 2) awkward animals with terrible grammar 3) gorgeous nobodies with awesome taste 4) depressing life confessions (aka: things you regret but not nearly as much as you should regret posting them to the internet) 5) Kanye 6) food Inane? Maybe. But the internet has no morals. The internet will not scold you for spending 3 hours LOLing at cats in clothes. ... Read More
The Raveonettes are one of those bands I've been listening to on and off since high school -- I was always kind of into them, but never jazzed enough to sing their praises on the Internet. Cut to their concert Sunday night at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. I take it all back, Raveonettes. Why didn't I realize how awesome you were before? The Black Angels got things off to a trippy start with their heavily distorted psychedelic tunes. And they were LOUD -- I'm ... Read More

Apparently, Oprah received some flak for not having Sarah Palin on her show during the presidential election. Oprah states that Palin's team never asked for her to be on the show and besides, why should they have? They probably knew like the rest of us that lady O was a huge Obama supporter from the start. Anyhoo, Oprah will feature Ms. Palin on Nov. 16th, the day before Going Rogue: An American Life, lands in bookstores. If you're like me, you could care less ... Read More

When one of my sisters found out she was expecting, she immediately said, 'I hope it's a girl.' She wanted to buy the adorable pink clothing, toys, etc. and thought that it would easier to raise a girl nowadays. When her sonogram revealed a little member...well, she was a tad disappointed. Hell, I think she shed a tear or two. Now that my nephew is nearly six years old and full of spunk, she couldn't imagine things being any different. For some ladies, getting ... Read More
